What are the winters like?

On the Costa del Sol we are blessed with a micro climate which protects us from the most severe of weather conditions. It is this that sees us enjoy over 320 days of sunshine on average every year. The winter here is very mild with normally no requirement for homes to have central heating. The winter time is when we can expect rain, though it is rare for us to get continual rain for days. Generally people see the winter climate here as a pleasant alternative to their own country in Northern Europe. Winter is the time for the golfers to flood in to carry on their favourite pastime in great playing conditions. Athletes and Tennis players find they can continue to train all year round here also.
