Torremolinos
One
of the three main tourist destinations on the Costa del
sol, The beach at Torremolinos is now well established
to take in a mass amount of holiday makers and with the
promenade running along the the coast you can find plenty
of those souvenir shops and cafes to suit all tastes.
Benalmadena
This is the
most popular beach along the Costa del Sol. Being the
main destination on the Costa del sol don't be surprised
to see the vast amount of tourists and activities taking
to the sand, from live music and dance shows in the hot
summer months, this beach can be full of activity
Fuengirola
about 9kms
of beach line and the long promenade the beach at Fuengirola
is a favorite for the walkers day or night. You will also
find the little marina port here full of boats and jet
skis for hire and for the less active plenty of shops,
cafes and bars.
San
Pedro
Now
becoming one the nicest beaches west of Marbella, with
the huge development in the local area and a big increase
in visitors, this beach has a lot to offer. With a brand
new promenade stretching for pleasant walks and jogging.
Estepona
West
of San Pedro and Marbella this newly reformed stretch
of coast line has some of those nice little quiet spots
and areas for that peaceful sun bathe away from the vast
amount of tourists. But if you require the busy areas
take at look some of the great little beach shacks near
the Cancelada roundabout. Horse trekking is also near,
taking you around the coast line and some stunning views
of Gibraltar Rock can be seen on clear days.
Sotogrande
Sotogrande is
located south of Marbella. The beaches in Sotogrande are
secluded and offer a peace and quiet that is often difficult
to find on the Costa del Sol. Sotogrande is a small town
and is relatively quiet throughout the year. The reputation
of Sotogrande and its appeal lay initially in the natural
beauty.
San
Roque
San
Roque is a town distinguished by its whiteness and beautiful
beaches. The beaches in San Roque are all of top quality
and very well cared for. San Roque, therefore, can be
considered a typical Andalusian town, with those narrow
and twisting lanes, and quiet squares and corners.
Calahonda
Calahonda
is a small annex placed 13 kilometers from Marbella. It
possesses a magnificent beach of thick and clean sand,
of deep and transparent waters, almost always calm.
Mijas
Mijas
is located 31 kilometres to the west of Malaga. Mijas
has 12 kilometres of beaches with fine sand and a blue
flag indicating that it is one of the cleanest beaches
in Europe. Mijas is renowned for its sports and recreational
facilities. The excellent climate and the quality of the
sea water, make Mijas an ideal destination.
Malaga

city of Malaga has two different types of beaches, each
one with special characteristics. The first group comprises
the beaches of the eastern part of the city. The second
group of beaches comprises those that extend from the
Port of Malaga to the Pleasure Port of El Candado.
Nerja
The town of
Nerja retains a traditional Spanish charm of white-washed
houses, adorned with geraniums, twisting alleyways and
cobbled streets. It is also a delightful beach resort,
with terrific stores, many wonderful restaurants, fabulous
beaches and one of Europe's best climates.
