Sotogrande
Only a yacht harbour developed within such a high quality
residential development as Sotogrande could offer such a
magnificent range of installations, which make it one of
the best in the Mediterranean.
Located at latitude 36º17'24"
N. and longitude 5º16'10" West, the harbour entry width
is 80 metres and the depth 4 metres. The depth within the
harbour is between 3 to 5 metres.
Facilities available are general and meteorological information,
toilets, showers, parking areas, water and electricity connections,
ice machines, laundry, TV connection, postal service, dry
docks, divers, workshops, cranes gas oil and gasoline pumps,
ship's tackle and equipment to meet the needs of all types
of yachts. Its 545 moorings, for yachts of between 8 and
100 metres length, of which 25% are for rent, allow numerous
yachts people to enjoy its facilities throughout the year.
Managed by Jose Cano Infantes, it is a perfect complement
to the residential development, which is surrounded by some
of the Coast's most outstanding golf clubs as well as Europe's
southernmost polo ground,the year round.
La
Duquesa
Ten minutes from Estepona and the same from San Roque, this
nice harbour, has restaurants, bars and boutiques, the fantastic
golf course La Duquesa, just at the other side of the road,
and the chance to visit the inland typical towns of Casares,
Jubrique o Genaguacil, Manilva, with its famous Roman bath
of "La Hedionda", the Gibraltar Countryside and
Maroc, all of them at less than 50 kms from the harbour,
as it is located practically in the centre of the Costa
del Sol.
It
is managed by D. Jaime Casals, and its position is 36º
21' latitude North and 5º 14' longitude West, the harbour
telephone is , and its radio VHF CH 9 and
10.
It
has 328 berths between 8 to 20 metros length, 25% of which
are yet unsold, the width at the entrance is of 70 metres
and the depth 3,80 mts. Inside the harbour the depth run
from 2 to 4 metres.
The
services offered by the harbour are: Information, passport
control, telephone, first aid, W.C. and showers, parking,
laundry, electricity, ice, post office, meteorological information,
nautical and maritime clubs, divers, petrol and gas oil,
workshops, dry marina , cranes and naval supplies.
Estepona
This yacht harbour, located only five minutes from the centre
of Estepona, features numerous good restaurants, pubs and
shops.
It
is situated at 36º 24'North latitude and 5º 09'
West longitude.>
The width at the entrance of the harbour is 80 mts and its
depth 5 mts, while inside the harbour it goes from 1' 5
a 4 mts, with a rocky bottom.
It has 443 berths from 8 to 35 mts. long, fifty per cent
of which are for rent. It is under the management of D.
Jaime Casals and offers information both general and meteorological,
WC, showers, water and electricity, parking, first aids,
customs, marines and passport services, ice, divers, cranes,
dry marina, workshops, naval supplies, etc.
Jose
Banus
One
of the first pleasure crafts harbours in the Mediterranean
Sea, pioneer in Spain, which contributed to spread the name
of Marbella, all the world through.
Established
in 1970 by D. José Banús, today is under the
chairmanship of D. Alberto Vidiella, helped by the deputy
counselor D. José Figueroa and the manager D. Leonardo
Llorente.
Stroll
by Puerto Banús piers, watch the huge yachts, coming
from every country in the world, as the Nabila or the Shaft,
or look from the piers the sails of the yachts while racing,
or the fast motor boats of the Offshore bewildering the
visitors.
The
crowd wandering through, with the rumour of different languages
making pleasing what a minute before sound strange.
The
commercial offer, bringing from everywhere the last fashion,
increased now with the establishment of El Corte Ingles
Departments Store.
The
gastronomy, offering from the most genuine Malagueñan
cuisine, with its tasty fishes, to that of remote countries,
as well as the international French, or the typical Mexican
or Indian.
Numerous
night bars and the typical Spanish bodegas where you can
taste the famous Spanish wines and enjoy the "tapas".
The
international Marbella Casino, is the compel appointment
for the game's lovers, or those who wants to try their luck
for the firt time.

massive presence of celebrities of the most miscellaneous
activities, those beautiful women, who show their fantastic
grace amongst the marine atmosphere of the Puerto Banús.

nearness of hotels, apartments, golf courses, other yacht
harbours, airport, etc. make it an exceptional position.
Marbella
Located in the center of Marbella, everything
in town is within walking distance. A short walk and we
are in the heart of Marbella's Old Town, we can also stroll
along the Paseo Marítimo, where, amongst the perfume of
the sea seeds, and the rumour of the waves, we will reach
the Hotel Don Pepe on one side and the Princesa Playa and
El Fuerte on the other side.
The port is the "meeting point" of the youngsters during
the weekends, and in the evenings, until small hours, they
packed up the numerous bars in the port, chatting, singing,
or just listening to music.
Situated at 36º 30' North latitude
and 4º 53' West longitude. The width at the harbour entrance
is of 20 mts being its depth of 4 mts. and around 1,50 mts,
inside the port, with a sandy bottom. The length of berths
run between 6 and 20 mts and twenty five percent of them
are on renting basis.

Cabopino
Located 10 Kms. away from the centre of Marbella and enclosed
in a beautiful residential area, it has 169 berths ranging
from 8 to 16 mts long, fifty per cent of which are for rent.
The entrance to the harbour is 60 mts. wide and has a depth
of 2 mts.,being 2,5 mts. inside the harbour, with a sandy
anchorage.
It is located at 36º 29' North latitude,
and 4º 42' West longitude, radio channels are 9 and
16. The Director of the Harbour is Mr. Hans J. Nielsen.
Among the services offered are: information office, parking,
first aid, WC, water and electricity, petrol and gas oil,
workshops, divers, cranes, naval supplies, etc.
Fuengirola
This attractive harbour is on 36º 32' 6'' N. latitude
and 4º 37' 8'' W. longitude, and located near the centre
of the town on the Marine Parade, a "paseo Maritimo"
which houses dozens of the most popular restaurants and
bars.
With
an entrance of 7 metres width and a depth of 4 metres, the
harbour can be easily accessed by all types of craft. Depths
inside the harbour reach 6 to 7 metres. The harbour radio
is VHF CH 9 and 16 and telephone number is .
A
full range of facilities is available: general and meteorological
information, customs and passports, maritime authorities,
toilets, showers, water, electricity, parking spaces, postal
service, the yacht club, divers, workshops, cranes, a dry
dock and ships tackles.
Benalmadena
Position:
Latitude 36º 36' N Longitude 4º 31' O. Radio VHF
Ch 9/16 Width at the entrance 180 mts. Depth at the entrance
5 mts, anchorage,: sand, depth in the rest of the harbour
from 2 toa maximun of 5 mts. 961 berths from 6 to 30 mts
long, all of them in rent.
The
special design with artificial islands give this pleasure
crafts harbour an avant-garde international flavour. Within
short distance from the harbour, there are many hotels,
a gaming Casino and numerous sports and leisure facilities.
The
Torrequebrada Golf Course and the special trips to the nearby
Spanish town of Ceuta in the North Africa coast, by the
rapid catamarans, are some of the facilities offered by
the Benalmadena harbour.
El Candado
Position:Latitude:
36º43'N - Longitude: 4º20'9'' W. Width of entrance: 30 mts.
Anchorage mud and stones. Depth: Entrance 3 meters, inside
the harbour between 1,50 and 3,00 meters. 215 berths, from
6 to 13 metres long. Harbour Radio. VHF CH 9 AND 16. This
port is located on the outskirts of Malaga, exactly where
the Western Sun Coast starts. It is enclosed in a complex
urbanisation with social Club, tennis, and its own Golf
Course. Several others Golf courses are within walk distance
