Can I take a Spanish mortgage?

There are many mortgage facilities available for the property purchaser here in Spain, as it represents good business for the Banks. Each lender will have it´s own criteria that must be met before granting an advance but they are normally very amenable. Many clients have used the increase in value of their main home in the U.K. to release funds for their Spanish property purchase. It can be said that despite the range of mortgage facilities available to the property buyer here, the market is very under borrowed as most clients have their own funds available to make their purchase.
