What
other costs are involved?
If
you purchase in a community project you will be required to pay
community fees which go to a centralised fund. This fund is used
to cover the cost of pool and garden maintenance, servicing of
lifts and periodical repainting of external walls. All owners
within such a community have the right to put themselves forward
to be part of the committee should they wish. You will pay fees
also towards your rubbish collection and local rates which are
a fraction of those back in England. A nominal annual tax is also
payable the details of which can be obtained from your Lawyer.
